Weird Science

It has been a bit since I have posted and I have got some catching up to do.  The kids decided to they wanted to make an entry for the science fair at school.  I think I always forget how much time the parents end up helping the children with this, from typing out titles, helping to glue, etc. it definitely adds up!  We all learned a lot and had a great time doing it.
Royce and Ty carving his volcano for his science project. (You didn't think Ty would let Royce have a normal play dough one, did you...?)
Royce loved learning about volcanos and had so much fun putting this project together.  He was so proud of winning his gold medal that he wanted to wear it everywhere we went.
Sydney wanted to do her experiment on water, more specifically hydrogen bonds.  She loved demonstrating how water molecules are attracted to other water molecules.  She said it is like they want to hold hands with their friends.  She was a little bit more relaxed about the gold medal that she won.   Maybe it is an age thing. =)

  1. I am in awe!! Traeden did an experiment as well but it was something we did the night before and our poster was nothing like this. But he learned a ton so that is all that counts I guess. Kudos to you for all the work you did to help them. That is awesome. Traeden's experiment tested how far rubber bands would go. =)
